At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So, you can waste your life drawing lines or you can live your life crossing them.

AFTERTHOUGHT: Perhaps when confronted, the hardest thing a person needs to do is to discern when to stay within or to move out of one's own confines. Staying within your defined bounds gives you a sense of familiarity, a sense of comfort. But when you cross those lines, you learn that there is more to what you know, and hopefully, to what you can do. Given that it doesn't work all the time, I think, not knowing what happens after you make the jump will either dumb you down or kill you.
