Event: Engagement Photo Series

From New York City's excitingly-eclectic Flatiron District to Connecticut's centures-old Yale University, and then some more from Massachussetts' Brockton Fairgrounds, we found ourselves deeply involved in a series of engagement photo shoots that we intend to use for our save-the-date video. Initially the plan was just to produce one video to inform everyone about the big event. But then I guess, we enjoyed taking photos of ourselves too much, we were able to come up with two more, definitely serving the same purpose but would feature different looks and locations. These videos were painstakingly produced at almost zero cost with the help of our close, ever-supportive friends and relatives. Please do watch our indulgence as we share to the world what seems to be one of the biggest events in our lives..

LOCATION: NEW YORK CITY, Flatiron Building, Eataly NYC, Big Daddy's Diner on 2nd Ave. & 83rd St.

SONG: "Feel Again" by One Republic, as featured in the movie The Spectacular Now

Our gratitude to one of our favorite couples, Gary and Grace Abano for handling the cameras well and to Cathy's HMU artist and our good friend Gerald Dayrit. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark Jalijali and to our other favorite couple Edge and Floe Cuevas for supporting our moments of self-conceit.

LOCATION: CONNECTICUT, Yale University, Lighthouse Point Park, Hubbard Park

SONG: "Where You Go" by The Young Romans, as featured in the movie Salmon Fishing In The Yemen

Our eyes were all set on the perfectly-landscaped Yale University and the antiquated 1847 lighthouse at New Haven's Lighthouse Point Park as backdrops for our Connecticut save-the-date edition. But when we learned about Meriden's Daffodil Festival in Hubbard Park, it was no question that we have to use this location for our shoot as well. It was a sea of yellow scenery and the day turmed out to be really nice. Thanks to Alec and to our ever reliable tripod and remote, we produced photos decent enough for this edition.

LOCATION: Brockton Fairgrounds, Brockton Massachussetts. Shots were taken during Color Me Rad SONG: "Sweet Disposition" by The Temper Trap, as featured in the movie 500 Days Of Summer

Perhaps, one of the most interesting things we have done together is The Color Run. What made it really special was I had it all covered. Photos were superbly taken by Ces Anciano, a cousin on my father's side, who lives with her wonderful family in Quincy. For more of her work, click here.
